Pygora fleece is often described as soft and luxurious. Pygora goats produce 3 differents types of fleece in
many different colors. Type A is most similar to angora fleece. It has long and lustrous qualities. Type B is
a blend of angora and pygmy fiber. It can have a matte OR lustrous finish. This fleece has guard hairs which can
be difficult to separate. The type C fleece is the finest and softest of the three. It has no luster and is creamy
to touch. It is often as fine as cashmere. Guard hairs, again, will be present. LRF fleeces are all
sent for commercial dehairing and it is often blended with other LRF wool.
